Jonah got his first computer game recently and of course, he loves it! It's called Jump Start Preschool and I had heard a lot about it before. He doesn't play every day yet, so that's good. But he really gets into it. It's a lot of counting, matching, and ABCs.
I just finished These Is My Words by Nancy E. Turner and loved it. Apparently there are two more books in the series, Sarah's Quilt and The Star Garden. Has anyone read these? I will probably read them eventually. I'm just glad I finished my book before I started painting because I would have had to put it on hold otherwise.
I have been to our ward only once in the past two months it seems! I was out of town for two weeks at my parents' house, then we went to the funeral in California, then I went to church one week and then it was Conference, and then Jonah was sick so I stayed home with him. I am really looking forward to getting back into that groove, but the ward will probably split this next Sunday anyway. We have almost 800 people in our ward. We have 6 nurseries, two Elders Quorums, and two Gospel Doctrine classes. I was talking to our Primary Chorister and I think she said that we have 100 kids in Jr. Primary and 100 in Sr. Primary.
I am actually sad for our ward to split. No matter how they do the boundaries, we will lose good people. I guess it's good that there are so many members here in our area. One thing that will be nice is that it won't be a fire hazard in the hallways or classrooms anymore.

The paint looks really good! Cool for Jonah! I use to play those jumpstart games too! Levi thats funny! :D And yes it is about time your ward got split. Way to many people!
These is my words is one of my favorite books ever!! I love Capn' Jack. Sarah's quilt is not near as good, probably because he is not in it.
I know what you mean, Holly. Hope I can get through it anyway!
If you need help painting I could help on Saturday!
I hope the ward doesn't split on Sunday....hopefully we'll be in the same ward...I know that the ward does need to split but now that I've finally gotten to know some people in the ward it will be sad to have to start over again...and to think of not being in nursery anymore...too much...too much!!!!
Fun painting project!! Crazy ward size, too! 200 kids in primary and 6 nurseries...how in the world? How many primary presidents are there?! Sarah's Quilt wasn't nearly as good as These is my words (in my opinion) and I just picked up The Star Garden yesterday at the library! I will let you know! :)
Love the color! Looks like you have the hardest parts done - rolling is always so much faster!!! Want to come do my house next?
I'm going to be sad when the ward splits too...I hope that we are in the same ward!
Connie, it's going to look great!
Just finished painting too. Thanks to Chad it only took one night and part of the next day. Love the color too.
