Well, I started painting the downstairs on Monday of last week and finished rolling on Thursday! That is pretty fast for me, but Peter did help me with the rolling. Now all I have left to do are the touch-ups and the ceiling. I haven't started yet, and since I am very meticulous (okay, anal) it might not be done for a while. I have to make jam tomorrow and do some things this week, but I will get around to it little by little. It is a lot lighter during the day, but I like it a lot. It's so much better than white!
On Saturday, we went to the McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park up in Scottsdale with our cousins. They have a lot of big engines on display, a train you can ride, a carousel, a huge playground, and a little museum of sorts. The kids all love trains, so they had a lot of fun.

Love the new color! I think it gives just enough life to the room. I'm dying to get the rest of my house done, but I don't think that will be happening for wuite some time. Oh well, one room at a time I suppose.
