Happy Hallow-weekend! part 1

We started off our Halloween festivities this year on Friday. We went over to a friend's house for a little Halloween party! It was nice to have a practice run on the kids' costumes. We didn't do Eden's hair in a bun, but it worked! Can you see why people ask if these guys are triplets?
At the party, there were all sorts of yummy treats and crafts and games. The kids (not even just mine!) just wanted to read though.Eden and I got to hold Kallie, our newest little neighbor! She is a sweetheart and was so content. And here is the whole group!
That night we went over to IHOP for their kids-eat-free Halloween pancakes. And after searching for pumpkins at three different stores, we finally found a corner pumpkin patch. Saturday was filled with errands and chores. But first we did this.

We went to two different drugstores hoping to get flu shots, but found out that they wouldn't administer to the kids. I found out that Wal-mart will do kids 4 and up, so it looks like we'll be visiting this week.

We got around to carving our pumpkins that afternoon. The kids were pretty excited. Jonah took some pictures while we finished.

Marce and I got our shots at Walmart. He screamed bloody murder. He was so scared when we told him about it, poor guy. I told him I'd get him a Lego set if he did it but it still took him a long time to calm down, we had to hold him down...I guess we'll have to take Phoenix to the doctor for his. He's the only one who hasn't gotten one now.

Your kids are all basically the same height! And I think the pictures of you and Eden with the baby are so funny because the first thing I thought was that she and you are such an off match. She still doesn't even seem like your daughter to me for some reason. She is nothing like you in looks or personality. I just laughed when I saw the picture because it just seemed like 2 strangers fawning over a baby.

Hope you had a fun weekend. I'm glad to be into November. Christmas and a new year will be here before we know it!

Your kiddos are so cute! And I see Levi is a knight--is that because of Tyrone the knight? (I finally saw that episode)

Yes, Amanda! In his mind, he was Sir Tyrone...
