Oh Boy. Paul is launching his FINAL tour. And guess where this dreamboat genius is starting it off?

None other than Phoenix, Arizona! I couldn't believe it when I found out! What luck! I don't think he's ever had a show here. I have always wanted to see Paul in concert before I die, or he does. I was so bummed to find out that he is coming to Phoenix on March 28th- a Sunday. I'm so let down right now! It's probably the last chance I'd get to see my favorite Beatle and it's not gonna happen. I don't blame him for retiring- he's 67 years old, after all. I'm just sad that I procrastinated ever seeing him in concert. Although if I really were honest, I could have, should have made it happen before now if it was that important to me.

I do not get caught up in celebrities and such. I really couldn't care less about movie stars or most famous people. But seeing Paul would be really special for me. I guess I'll have to be resigned to the fact that he's just a man playing a bass. Hopefully they have Hofners in heaven.

well, he's not just a man playing a bass, that's for sure. I have nothing against famous people. Some of my very favorite people are famous, famous musicians or writers and such. I'm kind of easy going on myself for not making it to their concerts because most of my favorites are dead, or not touring anymore, or broke up, or didn't tour a lot in the first place. There would only be a few that I'd actually pay to go see now. Muse is coming to Phoenix...I think on a Sunday...or maybe when I'm out of town...I can't remember, but I know I can't go for some reason...
Bummer! It's different seeing someone perform live. There is more intensity, feeling and depth to their music and performance. Plus, it's tons of fun.
On the other hand, there is something to be said about living with moral intergrity.
