13 Reasons Why I Love My Kids

There are definitely times when my kids drive me crazy, but I really love these kids. Here are some reasons why.

1. They are affectionate. My kids like to give lots of hugs and kisses. They like to snuggle. The cutest is when they give each other kisses.
2. They are quirky. These kids do some funny things. For those of you who know Jonah, you know that's true. I find most of their little quirks endearing. Levi's latest obsession is Jonah's flip flops. He wears them all the time (even in the shower, evidently) and is constantly changing pairs.

3. They love music. These guys are constantly singing and dancing around. Right now their favorite song to sing at the top of their lungs while shopping at Target is "I Love to See the Temple."
4. They love learning. Jonah and Eden LOVE school, and I hope it always stays that way.
5. They are good sleepers. I worked hard to turn Jonah into a good sleeper, but I don't remember doing anything special with Eden or Levi. It has been really nice having babies that like naps. Levi just came to me a while ago asking for a drink so he can go to bed.
6. They are smart. I am always surprised at what they can do.

7. They surprise me. Just when I think I can predict what they will do, they will totally surprise me. They have been doing a lot of growing up lately, so the surprises have been good. Even Levi, naked, with my phone, on my bed, can make me laugh.
8. They are beautiful. Everyone thinks their kids are beautiful, and I'm no exception!9. They love animals. I wish we could get the kids a dog or some chickens, but it's just not the time. These kids love dogs and cats.

10. They love books.
One of our favorite things to do is to go to the D.I. (or E.I. as Eden calls it) to get loads of books. The new books keep the kids reading for weeks. 11. They are independent. Although I love the snuggles, I am glad that my kids aren't usually afraid to go do things on their own. I haven't had any clingy babies with separation anxiety, and I'm really grateful for that. These kids are friendly and usually outgoing.

12. They are silly. This might be one of my favorite things about them. It reminds me of what childhood is like- being able to be silly without being embarrassed or worrying what other people think.13. They are mine. I am so lucky.
