We have that same situation at our house too. A couple of days ago I put pictures on my blog of Sammy's feet after he had painted them himself. I have to say, that color looks great on him! :)
Oh man, I have this problem with Matthew. He always wants to partake of the girly things in life. Sometimes I give in, but I can't do it all the time or he'd be walking around with painted nails, lip gloss and barettes in his hair every day!

Ha! That's awesome and I think it's great that you didn't argue with him on this one--it will be great blackmail for when he's older! :)
Man, I wish MY battles were that easy...AT least Landon's not painting HIS toenails. I guess I have it pretty good!

Josh will actually paint the boys toes for them, I don't even have to do it. I blame his little sister :)
