This lady needs a night out!

I have had nothing going on lately. Levi's birthday is in a week, and I have some things going on in October, but I have been seriously bored lately! I know I have nothing to complain about. My mom used to hate it when we complained and whined about being bored, telling us she'd find something for us to do (chores) if we didn't quit it. I could be working two jobs on top of being a full-time mommy...trust me, I know I am lucky and have it good. I'm just venting. Things are fine; I just haven't been out lately.
I was so bored today, that I set up a tent/fort/whatever-you-call-it in the living room for the kids to play in. Eden kept going in and out- she never stopped. I brought them some coloring stuff, and their blankets and pillows so they could have a little rest in there. It was fun, but that only lasted about and hour before Eden just stood up in the middle and it kind of collapsed. Oh well.

Yikes! I guess I didn't do Eden's hair today...

Besides that, I've been watching movies, cleaning up toys (a lot), and feeding the kids. So now I am blogging, even though there really is nothing to blog about. I did find a cute video of the kids while I was uploading my pictures. It's from the last time my parents came down. Here is Grandpa with kids (-they are looking at pictures of animals on the computer):

You are such a great mom, Connie! Love the fort! What fun! I bet the kids thought you were the coolest! (cause you are!)
Oh- I feel your boredom! I've been on a few trips lately, so I've been out of the house, but my boredom has been coming from my time after work. I go to work, come home and make dinner, and then plop in front of the TV and spend my life away watching pointless mind-numbing dribble. Talk about needing to get out. I was talking to a friend of my the other night and I think we're going to plan a girls night out with a bunch of us from the ward. None of us like being away from our families, so we only do about twice a year. It's just nice to get out for a couple of hours and chat about girl stuff with the girls. We've done this with big groups or smaller foursomes, and have done dinner, game nights, or even a movie. You should try it. Just keep it simple so Peter isn't home for hours one end with the kidos. Maybe grap 4-5 girls from the ward and go grab some ice cream. You'd be surprised at how refreshing it can be.
Good Luck! And I love the fort!!!! Kenneth, Karena and I used to do that all the time with blankets and pillows. Way to keep the tradition alive!
Sorry about all the typos. I suppose I should start proofreading my comments.
LOVE your hat!
Cute Cute! Love the pics!
Looks like your kids had lots of fun! Cute pictures! I know what you mean about needing a night out. It would be nice to be able to go out one more time before the baby comes! Peter should take you out! Or leave him home with the kids and go see a chick flick with a girlfriend! Both would be fun! Good luck, hopefully you get out this weekend. Ü
