1. It's not really MY news, but my baby sister is going to be a missionary! She is going to Boise, Idaho for 18 months and she leaves November 20th. I'm so excited for her to have the great experience of being a missionary and also for my kids to be able to see her serve. Peter is excited because he served in Idaho as well, and LOVED it.

2. We got a new family member! She's a feisty little sweetheart and she's a tortoise. The perfect pet for a mom of four rambunctious kids. She pretty much is the most low-maintenance pet there is. We love her and couldn't be happier. Oh, and we finally decided on a name for our new addition. We are going to call her Ruby :)

3. Everly is going to be 1 tomorrow! I can't believe how the year has flown by. She is the joy of my life and I I am so happy we have her. We were talking about getting answers to prayers tonight with the kids before bed and Eden shared how she prayed for a baby sister and her prayers were answered. I'm so glad Heavenly Father heard and answered her, not just because we have Everly, but because Eden got to have a spiritual experience because of it.

4. Ten years ago on Friday, Peter and I started our forever family by getting sealed in the San Diego temple. What a great day that was. It seems like forever ago. We have been so blessed over the past years, and I'm excited to continue on this journey we've started.

5. And lastly, I'M GOING BACK TO SCHOOL! Can you tell I'm excited? I will be doing the Pathway program at BYU-I, so not only will I get my degree, but I am realizing my dream of going to BYU! For the first year, I have to take only 5 credits. One of the classes is a religion class (yay!) and one is kind of an orientation. Since I already have my Associate Degree, I will get to jump right into my third year in the online program. I start in September and am so thrilled at the chance to get to finish my degree in such a convenient and budget-friendly way. ($65 a credit, people!)

And I'm so excited that you are going back to school!! What program are you doing? I'm thinking of doing it too.... at some point.

Yay!!! This such a cute post! Exciting things happening. Cute name for the new pet. I can't believe Everly going to be one! And ten years? That's pretty crazy. Also, Tibi is going on a mission to Idaho... hehe. Awesome. Excited for you to be my schoolmate!
