Wow, I did not take very many pictures in December! And I can't really remember much of what went on. I guess that will teach me to skip 6 months of blogging.
Here are Jonah and Eden at their Winter Sing. Eden was stuck behind this girl with huge hair, so I didn't get very many good pictures.

We had multiple Santa visits throughout the month. Santa was hanging out at Walmart one day, so the kids sat on his lap.

This year, Eden and I went to a local performance of the Nutcracker with the young women. One of the young women even performed and did a fabulous job!These are some fantastic cupcakes we got from our amazing cake-decorating neighbor!A cute one of Jonah reading to Levi...

Our own Santa visited us multiple times throughout the month. Levi was big into dressing up as Santa back in December. He even had me sit on his lap, until he told me I was crushing him.

We had a great Christmas morning, and enjoyed going to church on Christmas Day. I found out I was pregnant on December 18th. It was a Sunday. I remember feeling pretty weirded out at church. I had all the emotions going through me. Excitement, fear, worry, gratitude. Peter and I decided to try to keep the news a secret until I was past the first trimester, something we had never done. It was hard! We did end up telling my family at Christmas by wrapping a frame that matches all the other grandkids' frames at my mom's house. We wrote Baby Shirley behind the glass. Everyone was pretty excited. It felt nice to tell someone!

We had a great time with our family in Nevada for Christmas. Eden was so happy to see Amar'e.
