Jonah has loved Let's Play Music this year, a program that prepares kids for piano lessons by teaching them musical concepts through play. He was the only boy in his class this year.He played the bells on "Are You Sleeping?" and did a great job. He already understands rhythm pretty well. I could barely see him from where I was, but here you go:
Jonah was super excited to have his name called and to get his certificate.
Next year he'll be reading music and playing the keyboard!

is this a program at his school? it sounds awesome!
No, it's just private. Two ladies in the neighborhood teach it.
They have the program here too. Some kid I babysit goes to it.
