Eden is dying for a baby sister. I keep telling her that Heavenly Father decides if our family needs a baby sister or a baby brother. The poor girl is going to be heartbroken if we have another boy. She asks about it everyday and I'm not even pregnant yet! Really, I'm not.
Today she was talking about it in the car (again) and I reminded her that we don't get to pick. She said, "I'll say a prayer to Heavenly Father." Then she said a prayer right there in the car asking for a baby sister. When she was done she asked, "Do you think Jesus said yes? I think he said yes!" Love that childlike faith. I hope for her sake that she gets her baby sister or we'll have to have a few complicated conversations!

This is exactly how Marcelus felt. It was going to crush me to have another boy because of him...but when the time came to know, he was alright with it. She might change too. She'll get over it either way.
Gracie was the same way too. She was so mad when Benson was born... until I made her hold him. Then she was smitten. Then she was sure that Brigham would be a girl. No such luck again. She loves Brigham too though. She is holding me to my word that someday we will have another girl and she also adopted one of my sisters as her own sister. That has really helped. :)
Totally feel your pain. Broc prayed for a baby sister with both of my other boys, but magically when we found out they weren't girls he was completely alright. However, he still prays for a sister all the time and I am pretty sure we are done. Poor guy.
Tell her keep praying! I remember praying for a sister when I was little and I was blessed with two! (Although I'm sure I would have liked more brothers as well.)
