It's a blessing and a curse having two weeks off for Spring Break. I was sort-of dreading these past two weeks, but we have survived and have actually had some fun. I can't say that I've accomplished a lot by way of household chores or hobbies, but on Monday it's back to school, so hopefully I'll have this house in order soon. This poor kid probably couldn't wait for the kids to have a break from school. It's pretty sad when you're so lonely you have to use stuffed animals for friends.

Levi has been pretty much obsessed with Backyardigans lately. But we have been watching a lot of this...

and listening to its soundtrack in the car. The kids can't get enough of it.
We've also been swimming in the backyard. Jonah didn't want to swim at first, but he finally gave in.

Eden has spent almost the entire two weeks in this dress.

According to her, she is Snow White, I am Ariel, Jonah is "the prince" and Levi is Beast. So no one is even from the same movie, I guess, except Jonah, who is from
all the movies. I have found this little game to be quite helpful. For example, Eden helped me clean the entire bathroom the other day, as long as I referred to her as Snow White and I talked in my Ariel princess voice. Why didn't I think of this before? She is turning out to be a great helper (Snow White, that is).

The dress is getting pretty gross, however. It's not even washable- you have to just wipe it down. I might try a hand wash anyway. She has been sleeping in this thing as well as wearing it for about two weeks straight. I think I know what I'm getting her for her birthday...

This stinker has been taking his diapers off, even if they're not peed in, and trying to put on new ones. I am not ready to potty train him and I'm hoping he'll hold off until after summer and the kids are back in school. Maybe I'll do it during the summer, but vacations + potty-training kids do not mix well. We'll see.
A few months ago, someone at the store asked if these three were triplets. Levi was in the cart, so you couldn't see how much shorter than Jonah he is. I thought that was funny. I have been asked if Eden and Jonah are twins and also if Eden and Levi are twins, but never triplets. Although, sometimes it feels like they are!

Funny about the triplets thing! I always got asked if Tibi and Landon were twins. I always said "Yes! They were just born a year and ten days apart!"
Love the princess dresses, I can't wait until Mabel gets into that sort of thing!
Cute pictures of the kids. I wish we were swimming, today we were wearing mittens!!! Glad you survived Spring Break. That is how I feel when Jacqueline is off track, nothing get done the way it should, but at least everyone is having fun and I know life will be back to normal shortly.
My kids are fighting for every last tv show, video game, late night up, friend over. . .that they can before the END. They may have some sense of impending doom knowing that school starts again Monday. For us, there is a light at the end of the tunnel after all.
It sounds like you survived spring break just fine! That's too funny about the Backyardigan "friends" and Eden's princess dress. Glad it was a fun two weeks!
Connie! Can i just keep you in my home for a day! You are so hilarious! Why didn't i know you had a fam blog? I look at your craft one all the time! I seriously was worried about waking up my kids while reading your dialogues down the side of your blog. I couldn't stop cracking up! You guys are having way too much fun!
I love reading your blog! You have some pretty darn cute kids! The snow white dress reminds me of my own daughter at that age. What is it with Snow White? The kids adore her! I wish I could hear the Ariel voice!
