Just In Time For Halloween

My sister gave me this CD recently and I am obsessed! I have not taken it out of my CD player or listened to another playlist on my ipod since I got it in the mail on Monday. I am dying to go to the show, but it doesn't come to Tempe until July! But you can bet I'll be there! I had heard of Wicked a lot, but never knew the story or any of the songs. I absolutely love it and can now say that "I have been changed for good!"

So, thanks Michaela! Now I have something else to add to the list of things that make me instantly tear up: The end of Meet the Robinsons when Lewis gets adopted, talking about people from my mission, and now Defying Gravity and The Wizard and I ( and even the opening, No One Mourns the Wicked).

Whatever you do....DON'T read the book. The storyline is nothing like the musicals and it talks about some really disgusting things. I stopped about half way into it and returned it. I've never listened to the CD, but I've heard it's fantastic.

Yeah I read some reviews of the book online, and decided not to read it. But Camie, you should listen to the CD- it's awesome!

We saw Wicked when it was in Tempe a couple years ago. (Make sure you get tickets early, it will probably sell out quickly!) It was soooo good, and is one of my all-time favorite musicals. Andee even loved it; he listens to the soundtrack all the time! (Another tip: watch The Wizard of Oz right before you see the musical. It will give you some insights into the play).

It's playing a lot around here too. Pretty good listening...It would be great to see the play, but it doesn't come here to Vegas at all. I don't get it.....
