Jonah has been sleeping in his underwear for a couple of weeks during naps, and a week ago, we decided to try it through the night. He has been doing great and hasn't had an accident yet. I just make sure he goes before bed. I have even been waking him up before I go to bed to make him go, but he hasn't needed to go, so I guess I'll stop doing that. I think he's still half asleep when I get him up, because he doesn't really know what's going on, and then I just let him go back to bed.
He goes by himself sometimes in the morning if he needs to. He is starting to go in the bathroom by himself and go if he needs to go. That sure is nice, although I do still ask him often of he needs to go.
So now I have a half package of Lightning McQueen Pull-Ups unused. I guess I'll save them for Eden; she likes Cars. The thought of having only one kid in diapers is so tempting; however, I do not think Eden is ready and I will not put myself through a horrible experience out of desperation. I can be patient. I'm not sure how long Peter can hold out. So, although you all LIVE for potty updates on our kids, you might have to wait a few months for the next one.

Yeah for no Diapers!!!! Here is something that helps me.... James will still have accidents every once in awhile so on his bed I have a plastic sheet, then a sheet, another plastice sheet, and then a sheet, and so on. This way at night all I have to so is strip the bed down to the next clean sheet and he can go back to bed. (really helpful because then I don't have to make a bed in the middle of the night and risk waking up the other 2 boys) And now... When James has an accident he just takes care of it himself, this way he's not embarassed by it.
And given a couple months I think you'll see Eden be more intrested in potty training and I cross my finger that it will be easy... Tommy was WAY easier than James.
Whahoo! That's awesome! Yay Jonah!
Ah, I dread the potty training days. Canning your chicken...you'll have to teach me how.
Man have you been busy! Sometime we should get together and can a batch of beef. That was my next canning project. . .which I haven't done yet. It's so much more fun to can with someone else! Jonah was so cute on Sunday. . with his scripture, and being a lion. I just love those kids!
I bet that is such a relief to have one out of diapers. Congratulations! You should really go out and celebrate!
I emailed you some of the stuff you wanted. Let me know if you can read everything.
Way to go Jonah! Thats awesome! I wish I could go pee in the toilet! ha
That is great! Congrats Jonah & Connie, one down!
Yahoo! Milestones are awesome!
Yay! Very exciting news! I am still not brave enough to make that bedtime underwear transition with Kirst yet. Just thinking of all that laundry makes me hold off for a few more weeks... :)
Congrats!
I have half a package of unused princess pull-ups if you want to make a trade...my next potty training fun will be Axel and he's not that in to princesses. Well, we're not encouraging princesses for him anyway.
Great job with the potty-training!
