Okay, I didn't want to do this, but I will! Maybe it will be fun.
Let's play ....Do you remember when?
Here are the rules:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave a memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember.
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. (If you leave a memory about me, I'll be sure to write one about you.)
3. Remember, if you can't say something nice, don't say nothin' at all ☺
4. Consider this a Tag: if you've read it, you have to do it!

Shoot- I just responded to your comment on my blog. You'll have to go read it, although I don't think it makes much sense.
Like you mentioned there are way to many memories to put into one little comment. But some of my favorites are those family visits we would make when you first moved out to Logandale.
#1-Walking to Wally's, when you lived a good 20 miles away, just to buy a soda or candy bar
#2-Trying to save a runaway cow without getting stomped to death
#3-Taking a "short cut" to the reservoir
WHAT WERE WE THINKING???? Although, the last one was my idea. Also, before I forget to mention....you were the most thoughtful person I know. I remember the award you gave me for knowing how to change a diaper, and the tape you sent me when I went to Vrigina with all the songs that reminded you of me. You were always doing something nice for me. You are the best!!!!!
Anyway-I have plenty more where those came from. So you might get some more tomorrow.
ha those are great because I also was part of the moronic group who walked a country mile (which is really 10!)to Wally's just for a Mr. BIG or something! And those darn cows always got out on Bowman, we'd herd 'em in with our bikes...ha ha
Since there's way too many to really think about I'll just put that we pretty much hated each other at one point in our lives (the mitchy house) and I stole some stickers from you, some really cool ones, and I got interrogated and probably lied to mom and dad but was caught red handed none the less...ha ha
funny story.....you were in highschool and it's when our houses connected in the basement and you had this halloween party or something and you and your friends came through the tunnel and my dad scared you with a chainsaw and had nylons over his head. haha. i just remember watching from like a 8 year old perspective. it was funny.
I just remembered that one time we all slept on Brannon's roof. When the sun came up that morning we started moving back to the house one by one and Kenneth was still up on the roof until late in the morning. And I think to prevent sunburn, he curled up with the sleeping bag pulled up over his head. Kenneth could always slepp in and not let anything bother him.
And skinny dipping in the muddy river....need I say more =)
This will be the last one. I swear.
My favorite would have to be memorizing "We are representatives of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and we have an important message about Jesus Christ we would like to share with you" in Russian to the tune of "Protocoligorically Correct"! :)
Wow, there are so many memories to choose from! The first memory that came to mind was when we were sharing the sunflower room in the Lyman house right before you left on your mission. I remember every night when we would turn the lights out and get into bed we would act like we were going to fall asleep and then one of us would roll over and smack the other right in the face! Every night without fail! I swear. Then we would slap each other for a while before actually going to sleep. I think we had a lot of fun sharing a room together. We also made up the settlers song one night. It was the night before my first day of middle school and we stayed up making up that song. Ha ha. I'm not sure if you remember, but I had to make an invention for a school project and I made that one where you didn't have to get out of bed to turn off the light. You'll have to let me know if you were there for that. Anyway, sharing a room with you is a great memory to me.
Well, this is pretty random and had you not posted about your mission, I might not have thought about this particular memory at this time.
My first night at the MTC, I know you can recall the feelings that existed during your own experience there. So much is going through your mind. Well, I sat down at my little desk, trying to organize things a bit and I saw up on the shelf this bottle of rubbing alcohol. So, I stood up to look at it, and written on that bottle was your name - Sister Willard.
Anyway, that is a great memory I have. Crazy as it may seem, it gave me a lot of comfort, just knowing that you had been there and made it through and that I would too. Thanks for that!!!
I don't know, there are so many . . . just the plain old fact that you're so gosh darn cute! And, that I've always envied your red hair. And, I've always thought you were a great singer! And, a great runner! I can't think of anything clever or funny because it's 1:31 a.m. and I should be in bed. My mind isn't functioning properly.
BTW, Sorry to hear about the Russian mission. I wonder if Laura has hear that too. I bet so. I believe the work will continue though! Just gotta have faith that we will be able to work out the Visa issues so the American missionaries can return.
(Preface... My spelling is BAD)
Istanbul, Not Constantinople. Oh, the days of running... The bus trips the one random tree in the track area, OH... Running up to the "M" (and then geting a ride the rest of the way) to light it. Flying on a plane with a whole team of football players to get to Carson City for State. the boys that were talked about. The bus rides to meets. The great letters you wrote to me after I moved.
My heavens.... I have a lot of memories about you. What can I say, you're a great person.
I remember when I came to stay with you and your parents. We went to the singles ward there and every Sunday you would give me spiritual quotes and thoughts. Really helped me through a tough time.
My memory of you, comes from before I even knew you. I was at Mom and Dad S's house and I remember people talking about Kathy's cousin to Peter and there was a folder/binder that had some letters from you in it (I think, if I remember correctly). At that time everyone was trying to hook Peter up with one girl or another. So I didn't really think anything of "Kathy's cousin", but I guess Peter did! I don't remember when I actually met you, but I was excited when we learned you two were engaged, which is another story! I just remember from that day, Cheryl saw your hand and the ring and started to freak out, we all wondered what was wrong! I wish I could tell the story of Cheryl, you, Peter and the ring better, since it is a really funny story. I just can't remember all the details that well, this pregnancy has really affected my memory! Oh well. You are a great person and I am glad that you joined the S. family.
