My mom called today and told me that Eden has some little spots on her stomach and that she thinks it could be chicken pox. I asked her to send me some pictures and did some research online. Eden has had the chicken pox vaccine, so I didn't know whether or not she could get chicken pox. From what I read, she can. If the child has been vaccinated, she can still get chicken pox, only it's usually a milder case. My mom said that she has a few on her tummy, one or two on her legs, and one on her eyebrow. So I guess we'll see if she's contagious when she gets home. She seems to be acting normal and doing fine though.
Anybody have any experience with their kids getting chicken pox after having been vaccinated? Let me know...I'm curious. Sorry, you'll have to click on the pictures to really see it well.

Connie, that does look like the pox. Do the boys have any symptoms or do you think she was exposed somewhere in Logandale? I hope she feels better.
Oops....I posted my comment about Eden chicken pox on you random happenings. Oh-well.
Who in the world is KC???? Sorry about that.
My nephew got them after being vaccinated. It wasn't as severe. Sorry!
Yeah- the boys don't have any yet...must have been exposed in Logandale. I just hope she doesn't bring it home, because Levi doesn't get the shot until his 12 month appt.
Those look like the pox to me. I would see if your mom can keep her till they are gone. You don't want to risk Levi with that yet. Ü
They look like the could be the chicken pox, but they look a little different. Hard to tell.
HI! Paige had chicken pox when she was little right after her vaccination. Her doctor said that a mild case is not that uncommon. Hers never got the little blisters on top.
