Early Birthday for Eden

My mom has been staying with my sister, Lexie, and helping her out around the house since the new baby came. So since she was in town, she came over to visit for a day and brought Lexie and her two boys too. It is always nice for the kids to get together. Phoenix is already looking less alien-like and is really cute. He still has chubby cheeks too! Grandma makes balloon figures and she blew up some balloons for the kids to play with:

My mom and Lexie had also brought over presents for Eden's birthday, which is Saturday. They insisted that she open them then. It was fun. She got a cute new outfit from Grandma with cute sandals to match. She wanted to wear them right away. She is definitely a shoe girl. Lexie fueled her Backyardigans obsession with a plate, bowl, and place mat set, and the biggest stuffed Uniqua ever! It is literally as big as Eden. She loves it already and sleeps with it for every nap! Thanks, Grandma (and Grandpa) and Lexie (and Sharrid)!

My mom fell in love all over again with Levi and decided that she was going to take him home with her. I tried to talk her out of it (I would miss him so much- he's so young!), but thank goodness when she told my dad the plan, he reminded her of all the stuff she has to do coming up. Sorry, Mom, maybe next time! Plus, Tibi would have killed her because she will be gone at Girls' Camp and would have missed seeing him.

Anyway, it was a fun day and Eden loves her new birthday loot. I hate to admit it, but I haven't really given much thought to what I should get her this year. I guess I have some shopping to do!
