Well, this ugly thing will not go away! I don't know what is so alluring about our front porch- we have nothing to attract it here. This cat is huge and butt-ugly too. It looks like the cat pictured here, but way fatter and mangier.
I actually had a few ladies from the ward drop by today. I was thoroughly embarrassed that that stupid cat was sitting right on my welcome mat as I opened the door. That mat means "Welcome, humans," not "Welcome, homeless cats!" Actually, the cat had a tag, and I asked some neighborhood girls to read it since I did not want to touch the thing. My seasonal allergies just barely started subsiding, and I do not want my throat closing up or my eyes turning puffy any time soon!Anyway, I had to shoo the cat away for the tenth time (seriously!) as I explained that the cat was not ours, and I was allergic to it. One of the ladies who came over is terrified of cats, and the other just hates them. It was pretty embarrassing for me. The whole neighborhood probably thinks that I belong to this thing.
Anyway, I will be spraying a cold jet-stream of water into that cat's face the next time it thinks that my welcome mat is its bed. Sorry, but I just have little patience for this. I know cats roam, but whoever owns this cat needs to get it out of here, or I will. Just because it's a cat doesn't mean that the owners shouldn't take responsibility for it. I would shoo any dog, cat, bird, hamster, rabbit, etc. off of my property too. I just think it's kind of rude for people to assume that nobody cares about stray cats. Seriously, get it out of here!
Okay, I'm done...

ewww, i hate cats too! I would shot it if i were you!
Thanks for the laugh. I think you have a disorder or something...mangy-cat-loving-deficit-disorder.
no it's not a disorder, I hate cats too. Call the pet police people to come and get it, especially since you are allergic...
That made me laugh! I'd like to see the cat's face when you spray it with that cold jet-stream of water. It'll never come back after that!
Ha, we obviously inherited our cat-hatred from mom! She tried to make us hate Prince, Bob Dylan, and Elvis too. Ha, I hate cats too and Sean's parents have THE fattest laziest cat ever. Sean and I always tease it and put tape on its paws...so now it hates me. Good! I hate you too Sophie! -What a dumb name for a cat! I HATE CATS!
LOL! That is funny. Give it a good spray with the hose and hopefully it will stay away. If not call the shelter they will come pick it up. I am ok with cats. I am really picky though. I like cats that don't want to sit in your lap all the time, that don't chase your feet as you walk by, that don't lick you, that don't claw or bite me. My parents have the coolest cat, but we all think he thinks he is human- so he doesn't really act like a cat. We tried to have a kitten for a while, it was a stray. But I soon realized that I should have listened to my Aunt who said that I shouldn't get a pet until my youngest can help take care of it! It was so true. We ended up finding the kitten a good home and I have decided no pets until our youngest is like 8 or 10! Sorry kids.
haha kira your funny!
Amen to the cat haters! I can't stand cats and walking into people's homes that have cats.
