April and May

April and May were spent winding down the school year and getting ready for summer!

In April, we got to see the Easter Pageant. It is always great to see it, and this year it was even more fun because we went with friends and our kids were old enough to really enjoy it. The kids were star struck by the cast members who were walking around before the pageant started and wanted pictures with all of them!
They got really excited when they saw John the Baptist. He was really funny with the kids.Just some random pictures from April and May...
The kids got into a habit of stealing the camera and taking a million pictures of each other.They also took some of the rest of us sometime too :)

Jonah and Eden had their Spring Sing.

We had movie night at the fountain! So much fun!Eden got her ears pierced! She cried a little, but was pretty brave.
The kids all had their last day of school. They all had good years and had great teachers!

For Memorial Day, we had our cousins over for dinner and jumping on the tramp!

Also, Jonah felt the need to write out a To Do list for Peter.

The Fair!

Okay, big old long post here, and I'm not even posting all the pictures I got! I'm not putting these is order either because there are just too many!

This year the fair was a little crazy for us. Our family ended up performing as one of the acts in the Barbecue Tent. It was a lot of work and I don't know if any of us would want to do it again (besides Lexie probably), but we did have some fun with it too.

I don't know when Eden got over her fear of guys in big animal costumes, but she was actually excited to see the Nevada Tortoise this year, as opposed to last year, when she would scan the area for it before walking anywhere.
We always love checking out the tractors and machines.

The kids got their faces painted on the first day. I think they all looked pretty awesome! Makes me want to get mine painted :)Jonah the tiger

The kids spent a lot of time hanging out in the tent while we performed. They were pretty good sports about it, especially if they got to play with my phone or the camera.Some of Tibi's friends also helped out with the kids, which was so nice of them.
They got to see Grandpa every now and again, even though he was pretty busy.Some shot of us performing over a few days...

Jonah snapped some pictures of the fair as well.The kids had a blast on the rides. It was nice because this year they were tall enough to ride on almost everything.

And of course, we got in lots of pony rides...and took in a few shows. Here are some of the kids at the dog show.
Jonah loves seeing the animals most of all. He is an animal lover and told me he even wants to be a vet when he grows up. So sweet!
It was a great year and lots of fun, like always. This year they had a Journey cover band that was really good. The best was watching drunk people rock out to them. So funny! Until next year, CCF&R, keep it real.
